Our lives are full of impressions that show their silhouette but which we can never clearly see. While the barrier that needs to be broken is often thin, we hesitate to actually tear it down even a little to get a truthful point of view of the other side. This image tries to convey the emotional impact of a break through such a barrier. The red fabric is concealing most of the body while the eye is being revealed through a hand-made hole, not to actually open a big passage but just to be able to see the other side. Just as in real life, the break-through is not hard to made, but has to be made by ourselves and often exposes us just as the other side. There is a risk of both sides feeling naked.
